Barany sensei practice

It was great to visit with Barany sensei and the folks at MSU kendo. The practice was centered around footwork and kihon with a bit of jigeiko thrown in. Barany sensei has the most effective footwork I have seen in a long time. His strength is completely generated from his ability to control his movements from his legs. This allows for a straight forward progression even when attacking from an angle. This is something that everyone should be striving for, including myself. It was good to catch up with a friend and practice with a great sensei. See you tuesday.
